Kernel for Marina ROM

NewKer 2.6.35.9 beta 1



Kernel for custom firmware with support init.d scripts such as Marina Lite.
 
Added: 
1. New governors of smartass v2 and interactive (so far only these) 
2. The new I/O scheduler BFQ and activated Deadline (instead of the CFQ) 
3. The kernel compiled from source and patched 2.6.35.7 to version 2.6.35.9 
4. Overclock to 787 MHz (OC) 
5. LZO compression kernel for quick unpacking it at boot 
6. And so, small any fix

Planned: 
1. Add the intermediate frequency 
2. New modes of CPU (Lazy, etc.) 
3. Correct mode code CPU Smartass v2 
4. New schedulers I/O 
5. The implementation of automatic grouping of tasks (increased responsiveness when loading the CPU) 6. Add Tiny PREEMT RCU 
7. Perhaps comcache 
8. Pack with the ability to install any firmware to support the installation of init.d scripts 
9. Set the 600 MHz frequency as the starting
10. And other

Install:
Only on Marina ROM based via CWM recovery

      Need the test,but when I go to sleep with 59% of battery,I'm disable Data Connection(3g/2g) and when 7 hours is gone - battery also have 59%

      yesterday with data enable - eat 10% :(,but it was new kernel,I'm compiled after upload this

      Great news, keep up the good work Sergey. Im gona upgrade to Marina (from EWRA). BTW can you provide fastboot install method for Marina rom(its easy and faster to install)?

      okey,but we have new official update 2.3.4 to v5H5-0 Fri Jun 1 21:18:49 CST 2012 and I'll make the Marina Lite 6 with new kernel ;)

    Hi gulyuk.
    I can't flash the new occur kernel for ML5.1 (I try it with recovery)
    Or need upgrade my old kernel for the new with the otu?

      what firmware you are using now? Marina ROM or orhe Rom?
      what is fails when you install the kernel?

    I use Marina lite 5.1
    And I not know what happened when I installing in recovery (stand the "alcatel onetouch" boot logo, no continue...:/ )
    (But I open the recovery mod (with key combo) and re install the marina lite 5.1 , and now working the phone, just I have problem with kerlel...

      You can't. You have to upgrade your phone to 2.3 first. Use OTU!

      for this you must update via OTU or use method from xda update without OTU to 2.3.4,because need in update bootloader for boot kernel 2.6.35.*,and install the marina rom,then via recovery flash it boot

    Just to be noted, I never experienced system crash with old kernel and Marina ROM Lite, but since i updated this kernel, my phone crash few times per day (first no response than reboot by device itslef).

      Tried, but still have problem and i forgot to report wifi hangs from standby to. Looks like my phone won't vote for new governors (corrupted?)

      For your wifi problem, try that:

      It fixed wifi on Ewra, it should do it on Marina too ;)

      @Niidhope thanks for mcTweaker, awesome tool, but i'm not satisfied with new kernel can't afford so many crashes, so i downgraded to old kernel and the problems gone. Does anyone attempted to port CM7 so far?

    Hi Sergey ;) Since u making new marina rom version i just wanned to mention that i got a bug in current marina 5.1 odexed version.
    It's not really a bug, just alarm clock getting force close...
    Not all the time but it happends (sometimes often) and its a big dill when u need to go to job or something.. :)
    Otherwise keep up the great work u doing ;)

    I have also a problem with this kernel.
    i have 90 mb free space,however when i trie to install titanium backup,it says that i dont have free space and i have to get more free space with unistalling apps..
    What i have to do to fix that problem???

    Nice battery consumption so far Ive experience from the other ROM, just consumed 2% overnight while sleeping. Looks like not compatible with android mail 2.3.4, I used to access my mailings by POP3. but I found an alternate K9 apk to do the job in retrieving mails. Okay so far.. No problem so far with other my ussual user application- T.bak up, etc.. Can I used other launcher other than Zeam, any reccomendation.. Thanks

      I dont see why not, but I tried personally GO Launcher and few others. But Zeam is "lightweight" as Sergey described, it runs faster and consume less mem and cpu than any other launcher, and it is still decently configurable. In the matter of fact this Zeam, included in Marona ROM Lite its located on standalone custpack partition and it does not require additional data storage unlike any other launcher which you can post-install.

      Tried already EX GO launcher but dont like application list designed, I like their locker. I observed Launcher Pro so far is fastest among the ROMs I tried. Have tried last time replacing launcher in the system, uninstalling the original one but after several days noted unstable, I immediately restored back to original.
